Spring 2019 flooring trends

It’s time for a Spring clean and a refresh at home.  This Spring we look at some of the biggest trends in flooring.

Textured and Patterned Carpets

A subtle carpet pattern can drastically change the look of a room. Cut and loop carpet has beautiful textures and patterns due to some of the carpet fibres being cut, leaving exposed ends alongside the loops.

Luxury Vinyl

Luxury vinyl continues to grow in popularity due to its realistic replication of natural materials like hardwood and stone. Vinyl is also very easy to install and ultra-low maintenance. Vinyl is available in tiles or wide planks up to six feet in length.

Wood Look Tile

Realistic replications aren’t just available in vinyl. You can now find a realistic wood look in a ceramic tile. Ceramic tiles are perfect for kitchens or bathrooms for that nature-inspired look, and can even be used on walls.

Mosaic tile

Mosaic tiles are most commonly used as a wall backsplash, but they make an even better style impression when used as flooring. Mosaic flooring features make the biggest statements in foyers, kitchens, and bathrooms.

Runner Rugs

If you’re not ready to spend on brand new flooring this season, you can make a designer statement by throwing down a few runner rugs. Runner rugs work really well in hallways or nestled on staircases.
